Pick up: 09h15 from the port. Departure of tour at 09h45. End at approximately 13h00 at the Acropolis. Pick up and return to port around 13h30.
The tour starts by picking you up from the cruise ship port of Piraeus, taking you in front of the house of Parliament, in Syntagma square where you will see the monument of the unknown soldier and the change of the famous Euzones guards. A pleasant walk will follow through the national gardens and on to the Zappeion hall, the temple of Olympian Zeus and the Hadrian’s arch. From here you will enter the Plaka area, heading to the Acropolis and visit with your guide the Propylaia, the temple of Nike, and the Parthenon, the monuments that remind us the glory of ancient Athens and the golden age of Pericles, and see also in the surrounding the Athenian Agora, the observatories, the hill of democracy (PNYX), Mars and Philoppapos hill, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, and the theater of Dionysus. At the end of the tour you will be transferred back to the port, in order to board your cruise ship.
N.B. : The entrance fee (12.00€) to the Acropolis is not included in the price. You will have to pay in on the spot.
